Main responsibilities and tasks:

· Strategic and operative cooperation with the kiddy HQ Purchasing and Marketing (integrated into the kiddy China Procurement- and QA- Team)

· Sourcing of trade goods and accessories for the kiddy brand (accessories for children’s car seats and strollers)

· Selection of suitable promotional items for events, trade fairs and horse shows

· Sourcing of small gifts/prizes (caps, pennants, plush toys ”pony”, t-shirts etc.) for events and horse shows (brand ambassador MMB) which receive a kiddy branding

· Trend analyses

· Attending relevant national and international trade fairs

· Continuous search for suitable new items

· Continuous analysis of suppliers; expansion, maintenance and further development of supplier contacts

· Negotiating with suppliers, execution of price and contract negotiations

· Responsibility for the selection of suppliers, quality assurance and product rentability

Qualifications:

· Commercial job training or degree in Business Administration

· Several years of job experience in the departments Purchase or Product Management of a manufacturer of branded consumer goods , commercial or mail order enterprise; if possible in the baby and toddler industry

· Experience in product management of consumer goods (preferably in the field of purchase of promotional items)

· Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)

· Distinct negotiating skills

· Excellent communication skills

· Assertiveness

· High quality awareness

· Confident, obliging manner and respectable appearance

· Proactive attitude

· Willingness to travel

· Good skills in using MS Office
