Managing all finance and accounting operations

  

• Manage all accounting operations including, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting, fixed assets and revenue recognition.

• Prepare and publish the timely monthly financial statements, as well as the closing of the statutory accounts in the Hyperion software on a semester basis.

• Manage and comply with local and state government reporting requirements and tax filings. Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.

• Research and report on factors influencing business performance to make sure company’s objectives achievement.

• Coach and monitor the good execution of goods receipts, payment processes, non-stock purchasing, etc.

          

 

  

Coordinating, managing and directing the preparation of the budget and quarterly forecasts and report variances

  

 

  

Internal controls

  

• According to regulation and group policies, develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

   

  Cash Management

• Monitoring and interpreting cash flows (weekly & monthly basis) and predicting future trends.

• Analysing change and advising or chasing (bad debts) accordingly.

• Arranging new sources of finance for a company's debt facilities.

• Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk.

• Studying the return of investment and advising accordingly the source of finance.

   

  Cost Accounting and Cost Management

• Manage and supervising the costs calculations closely with the executive departments (production, purchase, and sales)

• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

   

  I.T.

• According to the plan and the policies of the IT group, supervising of the local IT structure (security, network, software projects, ERP K3

• evolutions…)

• Supervising of the IT external consultant

   

  Continuous improvement

• Share best practices with other entities of the group

                                        Improve the finance tools (reporting, dashboard, costs models…)
