Role & Responsibilities:

Job Definition (Key Purpose of the Job) :

Digital Titan activation & partnership manager plays an important role to drive our Distort initiatives on leveraging partnerships, building strong corporate platform and growing our business.

With holistic understanding of all major aspects of digital, this role is accountable in activating turn key solutions around analytics from digital Titans (Ali & Tencent), introducing new approach, tools through effective partnerships with digital platforms (e.g. Alibaba & Tencent), which all result in accelerated business growth and key fundamentals for the future.

Long term career development could involve either a career path within Strategy function or shifting to brand digital role within VF organizations.

Key Result Areas :

Drive digital platform enabled analytics and activate insights for digital GTM to support brands’ growth

- Be the point of contact for platform offered analytics tools and drive tools utilization, including Data bank, Strategy center, Uni-marketing, Business consultant, Tencent Data lab & others

- Support Titan analytics playbook updates and regular management reporting

- Work with brands on activation projects – e.g. consumer assets expansion, KOL leverage, big data driven marketing & communications etc.

- Collaborate with team members for regular brand communications to drive better insights to action

- Collaborate with brands & functional teams on Titan big data integration into business decision process

- Drive knowledge built up via digital approach (e.g. short videos)

Support Titan (key digital platforms – Ali/ Tencent/ Byte Dance) partnership

- Collect business needs and prioritize focused areas for Titan solution exploration

- Support liaison with Titans on new tools & platforms

- Maintain working level relationship with various teams in Alibaba, Tencent, Byte Dance to identify potential leverage/ collaboration opportunities

List down specific set of functional skills required to perform in this role

- Deep understanding on China digital landscape with strong knowledge in platform enabled analytics tools, Data bank, strategy center, Uni desk etc.

- Strong digital analytics skills with sound business acumen and logical thinking.

- Strategic mindset with an attitude of “achiever” for driving insights to action together with brands.

Ability to work independently and comfortable with ambiguity and complicated matrix.

Experience

Minimum Relevant Experience: 3 years

Minimum Supervisory Experience: NA

Nature of Work: Digital / Analytics/ Strategic partnership/ Data driven marketing

Experience of Uni marketing (including the utilization of different tools involved such as Data Bank, Uni desk) and platform enabled big data tools. Experience of driving data based insights activation within marketing, digital/ ecommerce team or in a service provider/ agency or platform (e.g. Alibaba).

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge on Alibaba & Tencent tools and possess a network within their ecosystems. Retail or ecommerce experience is a plus.

A strong relationship-builder having worked in a complicated matrix, capable of gaining trust & buy-in from key stakeholders.
