Position responsibility

• Coordinate with suppliers for weekly orders processing and production.
• Based on SCM Managers’ allocation for new weekly orders, verify the PDF files in PO portal and move to the corresponding folders and check with suppliers for PO receiving.
• For no PO portal users, send the PO in PDF file to suppliers with emails.
• Collect the estimated production plan and ship date. Update the due date in Epicor.
• If the PO need to adjust due to the supplier capacity issue or QTY for consolidation purpose, check with US team to get the PO updated and then provide to suppliers.
• Ensure all changes and communication is communicated back to US SCM team.
• Coordinate with suppliers and Logistics Specialist for production, booking and shipping.
• Create the NIPO for sample requests.
• Production and shipment follow-up.
• Track the grill factories daily production output vs plan. Input daily production data from factories into tracking sheet on OneDrive. Find out the root cause of discrepancy and work out with the factories for catch up plan and future improvements action. Share the information with SCM US team.
• Weekly check factory WIP report and semi-manufactured parts report, especially for the key component’s delivery status. Coordinate with grill suppliers and sub-suppliers materials delivery.
• Weekly check the open PO’s and drop shipments updates with suppliers. Highlight delays in production for any PO’s not shipping at requested date.

• Weekly check the updated grill inventory and update the inventory list shared on OneDrive.
• Monthly visiting the grill factories to auditing WIP and verify containers loading plans.
• Work closely with Quality Team and coordinate with suppliers for inspection prior to the loading date.
• When receiving the monthly updated grill price list from Sourcing team, coordinate with suppliers for start using date. Verify the unit price on the invoices weekly uploaded in PO portal.
• Support Engineering Team to provide/verify the WIP for ECN changes.
• Support PM for sample making and sending.
• Performs other job-related duties as requested by management.
  

Requirements

 Bachelor/College degree. Minimum 2 years working experience in related field.

 Fluent oral and written English.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and writing.

Must have strong follow-up skills.

Ability to pay excellent attention to detail.

Teamwork. Good at communication & coordination.

Currently, Traeger Pellet Grills, LLC is seeking a Product Development Engineer at our Salt Lake City, UT headquarters.
 
This role will be responsible for ensuring designs of new products are correctly implemented through our international OEM/ODM partners and suggests design improvements to existing products. Evaluates current and proposed products, parts, or processes for cost efficiency and reliability, ensuring successful project completion based on set targets. Works with other members of the product and operations team to ensure that projects are completed at cost and on time, with the highest possible quality.
