Overall Purpose of Job:

Diagnosis Engineer, responsible for failure diagnosis for assembly line units, 0km & warranty systems of BD and CD, steering. He / She is mainly in charge of NVH related introduction and transfer, NVH analysis, laboratory instructions developing and updating, production supporting, technicians and operators training.

Major Responsibilities:

• To ensure the successful industrialization of EPS product.

• Diagnosis external problems (0km & Warranty); assembly process control – diagnosis internal rejects, preparing corrective actions and submitting documentation (Problem/Fault Report, etc).

• Provide Production support with regards to product updates, Diagnosis specification changes, continuous improvement activities, and equipment breakdowns.

• Support development of cost effective product Diagnosis strategy, in conjunction with Quality, PSE, Manufacturing, Engineering and Estimating departments, which are appropriate to a product design, its safety integrity, application, environment and manufacturing processes employed to achieve a superior quality product.
  

Key Competencies:

• Bilingual in Chinese and English.

• Good MS software skills.

• NVH Professional data acquisition and processing software skills, typically LMS(Test.Lab) or Head (Artemis) .

• Knowledge of basic mechanical principle, automotive NVH/BSR, Functional Diagnosis.  

• Knowledge of measurement system, data acquisition.

• Understanding of Statistical data analysis at least for measurement system analysis.   

• Driver's License and be capable of driving car NVH Subjective Evaluation

• Basic understanding for vehicle subjective evaluation

• 6-Sigma thinking (Green Belt is preferred) or RedX thinking for issue solving methodology
