Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

Position Description

Main Function of the job:

Work with our suppliers to ensure that their manufacturing processes have the right quality and control to ensure that the quality of the product being manufactured meets its specification.

Regular travel will be required within China visiting suppliers.

Main Duties & Tasks

To work with our manufacturing suppliers to ensure that :

i) the manufacturing processes used are robust, reliable and well documented;

ii) the processes give consistent and predictive quality of product to the levels required;

iii) that the workers are trained to the appropriate skill levels required

iv) that the processes used are safe for the workers to carry them out

Skills, Experience and Competencies

· Proficient in the use of MS Office software, including MS Project

· Good knowledge of quality assurance tools and techniques (Lean Production; 6sigma; spc etc)

· Good understanding of manufacturing tools and techniques

· Good English and fluent Mandarin
