PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Some of the aforementioned activities include:

1. To responsible for Versum China in-bound logistics operation and process to achieve bonded inventory target and customer expectation.

2. To manage and monitor import logistics clearance for WGQ/Jinshan bonded registration, customs clearance at Tianjin, Shenzhen and Shanghai port to meet standard lead time, on time delivery and low cost driven.

1. Ensure 100% compliance to the regulation of cylinder (empty/full) import, chemicals drums such as quota, license, registration required by control government and local authority related to export, such as SEPA license, US import license, export license etc.

1. Check and verify the transportation freight cost and arrange payment order, coordinate with Finance to manage the necessary documentation.

2. Make monthly logistics report (incl. the KPIs Report) and Provide logistics statistics and analysis report for continually improvement.

3. To support and act as key stakeholder of CI event and 100% meet logistics CI hard cost reduction plan.

4. Conduct or provide necessary introduction/training of import operation to the new contracted vendor for a smooth inbound operation.

5. File all documents related to the import shipment, and maintain a computer database.

6. Work with selected vendors (Forwarder, Customs Broker, Transportation Company, Shipping line, Trade agent etc) to find an efficient economical process for inbound logistics operation.

7. Manage the 3PL party vendor to follow the company’s safety requirement and Set up a measurement system to measure and record the 3rd party logistics provider performance, ensure the vendors providing high performance to Versum as well as competitive price, and conduct at least 2 times of supplier assessment and evaluation annually.

8. Self-initiate the continuous improvement on inbound logistics process, cost effective and closely follow up Versum China Supply Chain strategy and ensure 100% implementation of Supply Chain process as well.

9. provide logistics services/support to Supply Chain project execution and project development teams

10. Support Logistics Supervisor and China Supply Chain Manager on developing, improving and optimizing logistics work process.

11. Continue monitoring and training logistics, 3rd party vendors, import agent of safety activity to keep zero EHS issue.

12. Refine and streamline logistics process and make it feasibility and simplification process to collaborate with SAP system seamlessly.

13. Other duties or project related to import logistics operation assigned by China Supply Chain Manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Skill in using Excel, Word, PPT, Internet

• Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skill

• Good at coordinating and dealing with all levels of the internal and external organization

• SAP/ERP experience, Supply Chain knowledge preferred

• At least 5 years experience with chemicals logistics preferred

• At least 5 years experience worked in foreign chemical company preferred

• Accountable and proactive, self-driven to continuously improve

• Able to work under pressure and result oriented

• Timely trouble shooting and problem resolving ability
