   This role is to develop motor control algorithms to provide high performance control of permanent magnet motors for automotive auxiliary applications Focus will be in all actuators which will impact the future of automated driving. The core development of these products is lead from the UK office, but supports projects developed globally. Scope to work on future core work in Shanghai also. Accountabilities ·       Analyze requirements, develop control algorithms, design and implement test vectors, state compliance to requirements ·       Support requirement generation and architecture development for motor control features ·       Support testing and issue resolution ·       Liaise with core development team in UK ·       Deliver tested production code using auto-code software generation   ·       Activities ·       Work at project level with other functions to deliver product that meets customer needs/requirements ·       Support Customer review’s (Bid Win, issue resolution etc…) ·       Support investigation work on bench or vehicle to over come issues Internal/external contact Liaise with core global team, local project teams and in some circumstances the customer (OEM)   Qualifications / experience required   ·       Bachelor degree in automotive engineering, Electrical Engineering, control engineering or other related areas. ·       Strong technical and problem solving skills ·       Experience in control engineering, preferred in motor control ·       Experience of embedded software preferable ·       Good communicator ·       Good command of English Language
