Job Summary:

The person is expected to be fully responsible for iPhone / Tablet / iWatch Operation factory test related activities. He/ She will help in defining and optimizing the test flow to ensure factory has a robust production test process. He works closely with the factory personnel to execute the test process.

As an Ops Test Engineer, the person needs to take care of test station setup, calibration, audit and maintenance to ensure a smooth test operation at factory. He/ She will be the key interface with engineering team for any arising test issues, perform the appropriate failure analysis and propose the right solutions. Validation and deployment of test software is also part of the job scope. The person also works collaboratively with other teams in order to achieve goals in terms of yield, retest rate and test time. This position will reside in one of the manufacture sites and works closely with the various engineering to support the needs for operational team.

Key Qualifications:

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Has an analytical mindset and prompt in failure analysis
• Has a positive attitude and is able to work under pressure. He should be able to drive an issue until its closure.
• 1-3 years’ working experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, as a test or product engineer. preferred on Tester development/troubleshooting, Test software development. Previous experience with communication system, board level testing is also preferred. The person needs to have a thorough understanding about factory production test processes.
• Knowledgeable in Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R).
• Good at statistical analysis. Understands Cp/ Cpk and knows how to analyze problems statistically.
• Experienced in software programming is an added advantage
• Technical Background: RF (preferred)
• Able to adopt frequent travel with irregular working hours

Description:

• Define the optimal test flow for the product to ensure a smooth factory execution.
• Interface between factory and Engineering test station DRI for test issue debugging.
• Being innovative and able to propose an effective solution to tackle test issues.
• Ensure test station is setup as per SOP. Work with station DRI to update the SOP whenever there are changes.
• Responsible for test station qualification in terms of GR&R and audit. Review the data and grant approval for the data.
• Perform validation on product test software and test station program.
• Work with cross functional teams to achieve yield, retest rate and test time goals

Education:

Has a bachelor degree in Communication / RF / Electrical & Electronics or its equivalent from a recognized institution
