Job Description:

• Perform operation and compliance risk assessment with focus in procurement function/processes and plan test work accordingly;
• Maintain internal control document and develop testing program with focus on procurement function;
• Review processes for design gap per control policy requirement, make suggestion for SOP and policy update;
• Analyze any deficiency for root cause and solution, communicate suggestion, Follow up remediation status;
• Participate in routine procurement activities like bidding, price negotiation. 
• Independently perform ongoing price audit to specific items as requested by the management;
• Independently test processes and KPI results of all functions;
• Actively support deployment of procurement processes/tools; ensure required controls are in place;
• Identify the improvement opportunity from operations and recommend practical solution for process improvement;
• Effectively using analytical procedure and method to monitor internal control operation effectiveness on regular basis;
• Provide assistance in audit projects by internal and external auditor;
• Other ad-hoc internal control assignment by the management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above;
• 4 year experience with audit/consulting firm, internal audit department, or solid internal control experience of purchase to pay cycle ;
• Past exposure to pharmaceutical industry with focus on internal control of procurement cycle or function and participate in major procurement activities as a control role;
• Professional qualification like CIA/CISA will be an advantage;
• Demonstrated understanding of internal control framework and sound knowledge of procurement related activities/processes;
• Ability to interpret figures, maintain independence and objectivity in all circumstances;;
• Motivated and able to work independently;
• Planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills to execute work efficiently and build working relationships with internal and external stakeholder;
• Ability to make data-driven decisions; successful use of decision-making and analytical skill
• Strong fraud awareness and strict adherence to company policy/SOP
• Good command of English both written and oral will be a plus;
