Your Responsibilities Include

In addition to the duties and responsibilities outlined below, the person filling the role will be required to perform other duties assigned by the Manager from time to time.

 

• To participate in the Functional, Technical, Performance, System, Pre-Release Confidence and Acceptance testing of Infor’s software products for the purpose of determining readiness for deployment.

• To be an expert on certain functions of the product, to act in an advisory capacity on these areas and ensure testing coverage is effective.

• To pass on expertise to other Testers to ensure that specific functional knowledge level is high within the Application Project/Services teams.

 

In all cases, such tasks are to be completed as per agreed schedules, to a high quality, and conformant with prevailing development standards and practices.

 

In carrying out all of the above, the person filling the role shall at all times act in accordance with the company’s business strategy and Quality Policy, and in compliance with all corporate and departmental policies, procedures, and other requirements.

 

 

Knowledge and Skills, You Bring to the Organization

Required-

• Comprehensive knowledge and experiences on Software Development life cycle and processes. Mastering Software Quality Assurance and Testing Methodologies.

• Good understanding on ERP domains.

• Good communication & English skills – verbal and written.

• Extensive knowledge of Windows OS and MS Applications, including MS SQL Server.

Desirable-

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.

• > 5 years ERP software testing experience.

• Exposure to source control systems and bug tracking systems.

• ERP software dev/testing/supporting/implementations or related areas.

• Good time management & ability to work/complete to schedule

• Organized, thorough and meticulous

• Able to work effectively in a team environment

• Self-motivated to achieve set targets

• Demonstrate a systematic and logical approach to problem-solving

• Good multi-tasking skills

• Adaptive to changing technologies and testing environments

• Demonstrate a pro-active and innovative approach to finding solutions and completing tasks
