Position Summary

The Client Service intern plays an active role to cover faculty cell phone bill business for IT client services center and play a backup role to cover IT client service center front desk, who will be responsible for welcoming walk-in clients and managing equipment loan.

The Client Service intern will report to the Service Desk Manager. The position’s responsibilities require abilities of independent analysis, communication, problem-solving, initiative and judgment as well as willingness to take initiatives.

Responsibilities

· Assist IT front desk specialist to cover IT front desk; recept walk-in client and assist patrons with a variety of IT problems

· Log incoming IT requests and direct them to IT help desk specialists for trouble-shooting based on clients’ request 

· Perform a full range of circulation desk procedures with an automated circulation system. 

· Support with questions related to the equipment loan services

·  Assist IT helpdesk staff to install IP phone and desktop

Qualification

Required Education

· Currently enrolled full time undergraduate student or currently enrolled master student, major in English, Management is preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Good with communication and time management

· Customer oriented
