This position manages and develops equipment of Data Center and cabling products offering from a market perspective, captures market opportunities and converts it into offer requirements.

The responsibility is to optimize the market position and to secure the financial returns of the given portfolio, as well as consistency with organizational strategy.

It carries out the given mission by leading or influencing cross-functional team working.

 

Main Responsibilities  

• Prioritize initiatives and develop business case, for new product development or optimizing existing ones.
• Continually optimize the product competency by upgrading technical performance or by cost-out scheme.
• Work with upstream teams to generate offer roadmap or development plans.
• Manage and develop business for responsible offer to achieve margin target.
• Monitor market and competitor activities & trends, report it in an organized and systematical way.
• Develop consistent short and mid-term product plan and roadmap with right alignment to upstream/downstream products;
• Determine product positioning, targeting customers and value proposition to implement market-oriented philosophy;
• Track customer satisfaction, warranty costs, complains, etc. for product improvement.
• Conduct win-loss studies on regular basis. 
• Keep close contact with organizational counterparts for strategy alignment.
• Work with relevant parties (Sales, R&D, etc.) to develop annual product budgeting & to plan required resources.

 

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in relevant majors
• CET-6 or above, Proficiency in English and Chinese
• Skillful on PC, Microsoft office, Power Point and Photoshop
• Strong commercial sense to get business status, requirements
• Data sensitive and good analysis skill
• More than 5 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing of UPS/Power distribution/Air conditioner/MDC or other Data Center related business
• Good communication and influence skills
