Position: Product Manager -Container Segment

Key Responsibilities

1. Understand customer needs on products and solutions. Lead product development projects, from idea to launch, according to Hempel’s project model (New Solution Stage Gate Model).

2. Be accountable for ensuring the projects deliver the sales commitments, closely monitor project quality, time and resources.

3. Support the activities of group and other regions’ products move to China market.

4. Manage product assortment in China according to Hempel Portfolio Governance, including phase in/out product, new product code/ pack size application follow up. Drive and ensure cross functional alignment on phase in / out and collaborate across all relevant functions

5. Monitor competitors’ new product/price/market strategy.

6. Provide product training to sales.

 

Qualifications and Personal Skills

1. Rich industrial knowledge and insights in container business.

1. Solid project / product management experience.

2. Strong facilitation skills.

3. Good communicator towards all levels of the organisation.

4. Strong organizational, planning and problem solving skills.

5. Business fluent in English, both verbal and written.

6. Bachelor Degree or above, MBA is preferred.

7. No limit on major, but Chemistry is preferred.
