Day to Day Responsibilities:

Ongoing Tasks

1,Develop supply plan with regular supply gap review and execute inventory planning, and optimizing overall finished 

goods inventory to support business.

2,Be engaged in Demand Planning process, Master Production Scheduling process, plant supply review activities. 

3,Be actively engaged in the interactions with manufacturing plants for production capacity identification as well as the changes, routine maintenance, daily production output situation, production planning processes, MPS compliance rate.

4,Identify potential business impact issues and clearly communicate the issue to the management with solutions and action plan. 

5,Supply response in time to demand spikes, production shortages, transitions, etc. for required service and consistent 

delivery

6,Regular review safety stock, slow moving, unhealthy stock alerts, minimize inventory write-off, optimize inventory plan.

7,Document and implement standard procedures in QMS, and able to initiate and lead projects to improve with Process Excellence tools.

8,Be an active member of cross-functional teams focused on process improvement, cost reduction and supply chain issue resolution   

9,Finished goods replenishment and procurement including MSR / PO placement, etc.

10,Effectively communicate with stakeholders within Corning and work intensively with other departments (e.g. 

customer service, logistics, division planning)

11,Update KPIs on a regular level and take the initiative with data analysis to identify opportunities and improvement. 

12,Be master of ERP system user and Power BI user to facilitate planning and management efficiency.

Education & Experience  

Required

1,Bachelor degree or above in supply chain, industry, mathematics or IT with good education background.

2,Minimum of 5 - 6 years’ experience in planning role in manufacturing environment. Especially prefer planning 

experiences in machining, molding manufacturing plant.

3,Prefer the experience of key users, master planner role with SAP system background in manufacturing plant.

4,Experience with SAP ERP, SAP APO/ IBP.

5,Work experience in multinational matrix environment.

1,Experience with Power BI, data warehouse, database.

2,Good education background, good potential.
