IM&S Site Buyer- Your Future Position?

 

As an IM&S Site Buyer in our Fragrance and Flavors Division, you will be responsible to execute the procurement of indirect Materials & Services (IM&S) for China. Sound interesting? • Support the purchase of Indirect Materials & Services (IM&S) for the sites in China, as well as support the global procurement group.

• Support the sourcing process by developing intimate knowledge of selected commodity markets through study, analysis, personal contacts with suppliers, and any other sources of market information.

• Responsible for  the sourcing initiatives as per categories’ strategy and timely update the achievement into PVTT system

• Provide market conditions, pricing, shortages or technical information to Manager and make recommendations to make sound procurement decisions.

• Striclty follow up the IM&S policy and processes  in each procurement

• Advise and assist other functions in the evaluation and pricing of alternative materials. Advise on trade practices, pricing, market conditions, delivery terms, and utilization of technical services of vendors.

• Initiate search for new alternative services, materials or products.

• Solicit and analyse quotes, negotiate prices and delivery。

• Actively support the global 4 pillar strategy during daily sourcing projects implementation

• Code of conduct

• Frequent trips to Changzhou site (at least 2 days per week)

  Your professional profile includes:

• Bachelor in Engineering is preferred

• 5-6 years’ experience in IM&S Procurement

• Understanding of procurement processes

• Strong system skills (SAP, Microsoft Office, Google ) MUST

• Fluent in English
