E2open is looking for a Field & Events Marketing Manager to help drive increased engagement and new business for our field-based enterprise sales teams. The Field & Events Marketing Manager is part of the Corporate Marketing team reporting to the Director of Events with a dotted line to the Field Marketing Director. The ideal candidate will be proficient in strategizing and executing multi-channel demand campaigns, partnering closely with sales teams on targeted account-based marketing programs and executing internal and external events including annual conferences and meetings designed for customers, alliance partners, prospects, and industry analysts with the objective of strengthening the E2open brand and generating leads.
Field Marketing Responsibilities:
- Liaise between sales, solutions consulting, product marketing, and customer success to drive late stage pipeline and expand footprint with existing enterprise customers
- Closely integrate with regional sales executives, supporting the needs of their territory and executing account-based marketing (ABM) strategies
- Develop and implement vertical and 1:1 ABM account plays to cross-sell applications and expand annual recurring revenue with existing accounts
- Develop target buyer personas and tailor market and territory-specific value proposition to fit a variety of programs across the buying cycle
- Create messaging to support multi-channel campaigns across direct email, nurture, webinars, events, PPC, thought leadership, field outreach and sales enablement
- Establish and deliver marketing reporting, dashboards and analysis on campaign performance, conversions, attribution and effectiveness
- Collaborate with content team to develop various customized content assets including trade newsletter, analysis report, etc.
- Localize global collateral pieces to Chinese language
- Manage corporate gifts, holiday cards and other sales support
Events Responsibilities:
- Partner with Events team and other departments to build E2open event strategy and assist in running all internal and external events.
- Project manage events by creating timelines with deliverable and owners for every event.
- Assist to drive utilization of project timelines to help keep team(s) on schedule. Maintain weekly status updates for project timelines and tracking spreadsheets.
- Work closely with Director of Events to understand budget needs, help manage budget and finalize reconciliation for events.
- Assist with partner engagement plans, involvement, registration, and logistics to provide a valuable pre-event and onsite/virtual experience for all.
- Ensure brand, message and content alignment across all aspects of an event.
- Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, venue research; contract negotiation; budget adherence; expense tracking; staffing assignments; food and beverage coordination; registration services; team communication; website coordination; speaker and analyst VIP travel; event logistics; branded merchandise; and vendor coordination.
Qualifications
- 4 years of B2B demand generation and digital marketing experience; specific experience in Account-Based Marketing or Field Marketing preferred; 2+ years in event management preferred.
- Enterprise SaaS or supply chain marketing experience is a major plus
- Advanced knowledge of best practices in B2B marketing automation (Salesforce + Marketo preferred)
- Track record of consistently delivering measurable results and making data driven decisions
- Proven experience working with sales teams
- Project management experience with an emphasis to coordinate projects across different internal groups (BUs) and different locations.
- Demonstrated analytical approach, understanding of core marketing and pipeline metrics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree required, Marketing or Business preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented, independent and able to successfully manage multiple, concurrent project demands within set timelines with flawless execution.
- Positive and consistent customer service orientation. Professional interpersonal skills for a spectrum of stakeholders including C-Suite members.
- Experience managing stakeholders – external and internal (executives, vendors, agencies, etc.)
