职位描述
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible and accountable for monitoring the team from product development, costing, order placement and production follow up for the division based on purchase request.
- Responsible for team sourcing to accomplish products to market based on company purchase strategy. Ensures product development processes occurs in a timely manner according to company sourcing policy.
- Directs costing strategy to support new product development plan. Facilitates major price negotiation with vendors at the component cost level.
- Leads the team to proactively identify potential risks and develop resolution strategies in conjunction with UK buying team, specifically to manage the expectations around price, quality and delivery.
- Working with QA/QC team for products inspection and operation team on shipping to ensure on time delivery of quality products.
- Supervises merchandisers and ensures order tracking activities to meet specifications and on-time delivery.
- Manage vendor relationships and new vendor on-boarding.
Requirement and Skills
- Must have min 15 years of strong management experience in sourcing/purchasing.
- Min 10 years’ experience in furniture/export industry.
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize with good time management skills
- Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, is a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
