The Opportunity:

This is a golden opportunity to be at the heart of China’s elite business community, an asset that will benefit your entire career. Ushi is looking for a Product Marketing Manager. This position reports to the Product Director.

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for communicating desired messages to the Ushi member base, especially popularizing new product features and enhancements. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for the following areas:

1. Plan and implement marketing of new features and new enhancements to end-users.


2. Owner and operator of internal advertising systems.


3. Implementer of any third-party ad campaigns.


4. Implementer of any end-user campaigns like Invite Campaigns.


5. Responsible to track data on end-user behavior and usage, and make data-informed recommendations on how to optimize.


6. Continuous monitoring and understanding of the end-user life cycle.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in implementing successful online marketing operations and/or community operations in Chinese Internet media, preferably social media.


• Proven analytical, strategic, and management skills.


• Creative !


• Must be bottom-line driven, pragmatic, objective and detailed in ensuring thorough implementation, with the capacity to work within a changing business environment under pressure.


• Able to work with different disciplines (creative, technology, and business).


• Able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the consumer Internet market in China, from both a consumer / usage and trade / commercial view, and have an understanding of the industry structure and its dynamics. Ideally including distribution partnerships.


• Entrepreneurial and excited about working in a fast-paced, rapid-growth, dynamic work environment.

Job Requirements:

• fluent Chinese language ability


• English language ability is preferred but not required


• minimum Bachelors degree


• aged 25-35; minimum 3 years of work experience in Internet marketing or community


• experience in the consumer Internet sector is required

An attractive package of base salary and long term bonus (stock options) will be offered to the right candidate.
