Job Description

We are a fabless system-on-chip product company, providing highly integrated radio-frequency (RF) analog and mixed-signal semiconductor solutions for broadband communications applications. The company was incorporated in September 2003 by a team of eight founders with over 70 years of cumulative IC design experience in Bluetooth, GSM, and Cable Tuner products. We developed the first digital CMOS television tuner in 2005 and started shipping the world’s smallest silicon TV tuner in early 2007. Since our founding, we have shipped over 200 million chips.
Our expertise includes communication system design, RF radio design, digital ASIC design, applications platforms, and semiconductor device modeling.
1. Develop and validate IC driver based on Linux OS.
2. Maintain MMS host SW, including new feature update, bug fix, module test and validation.
3. Integrate MMS SW for windows and Linux systems, including driver, MxLWare and GUI program.
4. Problem isolation and timely solution of issues with existing drivers, working with Applications Engineering Team for field SW support during new product roll-ou stage
5. Directly support global tier-1 TV/STB customers on SW issues. Provide technical support focus on Linux solution

Required Skills

1. MSEE/CS with 5+ years or BSEE/CS with 7+ years of SW development experience
2. TV/STVB related product development and support experience is a must.
3. Linux software development experience, such as Red Hat, Ubuntu etc.
4. Strong C/C++ programming skills
5. Knowledge of driver or embeded SW development, including SW design and debug skills, unit and integration test skills
6. Good document writing skills with experienced in writing technical/application notes
7. Knowledge and experience on GUI design using C# and WPF
8. Quickly learning new technologies, with strong design and problem solving skills. Team player is a must
9. Fluent verbal English and good written English skills
10. Direct world-wide customer SW support experience is a big plus
