Social Compliance Officer

KappAhl Far East Ltd., Shanghai Representative Office is currently hiring a Social Compliance Officer to work with social compliance audits at our suppliers located in China. We are looking for a person with experience and good communications skills who is genuinely interest in social compliance and who wants to make a positive impact at our suppliers. Job Responsibilities



Plan and execute accurate, objective and high quality social compliance audits;
Support our suppliers and their factories in the implementation of appropriate corrective actions;
Create the awareness, understanding, and buy-in with colleagues of the importance of Social Compliance;
Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders including industry associations and suppliers;
Contribute to the ongoing development of KappAhl's Social Compliance Strategy, providing insight, advice and solutions direct from the supply base;



Requirements



University Degree, Bachelor or higher;
3 -5 years working experience with Social Compliance Audits;
Interest in international labour standards, human rights & environmental issues;
Knowledge of international labour conventions, local labour laws and regulations;
Ability to work in fast paced work environment both independently and in a group;
Willingness and ability to travel frequently in China;
A good command of written and spoken English;

Can-do attitude, self-motivated with high ethical standards and an energetic drive to achieve desired impact;
Good communications skills and ability to work in a highly collaborative environment;
Attention to details and good organizational, coordination and planning skills.
