Position: Product Engineer
Department: WSG-SH PE
Reports To: Product Development Manager
Location: Pudong, Shanghai

Summary:
As a Product Engineer in Micron Wireless Solutions Group (WSG), you will play a key role in eMMC(embedded Multi Media Card) product development including test program development for characterization and firmware validation, working closely with the Controller Vendor, Firmware Teams, NAND Product Engineering, Test Engineering, and QRA Engineering to develop, debug, characterize products, identify and address yield issues, and validate firmware and controller behavior.

Job Responsibilities:
In this role, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1) Develop and modify characterization/FW validation test program
2) Datasheet verification, firmware validation, performance characterization, analyze test data and generate reports
3) Assist evaluation of electrical and physical failures found during customer, system level, production, or reliability testing
4) Feedback to the Controller Vendor, Firmware Teams, NAND Product Group, Test, and Assembly regarding how they can improve their aspect of the manufacturing process
5) Forecast, analyze and improve product yield and test time
6) Review customer requests, conduct gap analysis
7) Study and analyze existing eMMC systems, understand and explore customer usage model.
8) Propose firmware changes based on requirements and NAND/controller capability.
Requirements:
1) Bachelor or master degree with electrical and engineering or physics background
2) Initiative, hard working and good team worker
3) Proven skill of C++/C/assembly language coding
4) Good problem solving skills, responsible and self motive.
5) Good English communication skills (oral and written)
6) Knowledge on managed Nand and flash card test experienc
7) RCG/ or 3+ years experience at Electronics or semiconductor working background
8) Experienced on NAND or NOR flash test environment is preferable
9) Experienced on Advantest or other ATE system test program development and debug is plus
10) Willing for short period travel
