Position: Assistant Merchandiser_Garden

Report to : Merchandising Manager

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support sourcing activity including sourcing, comparing and selecting competitive suppliers to provide cost effective and high quality products for Garden category business, focusing on Garden furniture, Camping, BBQ, etc.
• Responsible for supplier management, including supplier evaluate, comparison, control, complain settlement etc
• Responsible for order control and following up, including Ordering Tracking System operation, time control, price negotiation, sample check, coordination with QA for product testing, factory assessment etc.
• Assist Merchandising manger on project handling, including garden products development, new products sourcing to Germany line manager etc.
• Travel around China visiting suppliers to develop partnership.
• Other tasks assigned by immediate supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree or above in relative background.
• At least 2-3 years independent sourcing working experience in Garden furniture, camping, BBQ.
• Good knowledge of Garden products, exporting, relative quality standards and product directives of European market.
• Good communication and negotiation skills, sense of market, and detail orientation.
• Willing to travel within China or overseas as business needed.
• Willing to work under pressure, and a good team worker;
• Good command of English or German.
