I.SHORT JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for Coating services production at the location of Sulzer Metco in Shanghai. The area of responsibility includes managing of processes like work preparation, planning, execution, quality control in production and training of personal.

Keep close contact with CSC Shanghai to define the process and implement the working procedures of CS production, ensure a smooth production with quality satisfaction defined; carry out sampling and application engineering, provide technical support to sales team.

II.AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

1.Main tasks
Plan for the production according to customer delivery plan
Lead the production team to fulfil production tasks per work instruction till delivery arrangement
Arrange, monitor and evaluate the work process to guarantee the high quality of products with continues improvement actions, high efficiency
Lead the team to solve problems in case of quality issues and / or customer complaints.
Responsible for coaching and training of the operators
Developing core skill and team work ethics, effective interface with engineering and technical support and also provide direction during un-planned events
Ensure the smooth material flow within shift production to guarantee the continuous flow manufacturing. Initiate and lead LEAN initiatives for your production line.
Plan and perform relevant housekeeping to maintain a good working environment
Conduct new product testing per sales & application request, including testing arrangement and track the testing result with application engineer
Responsible for cost centre (COGS), and any physical stock of the site

2.Supporting tasks
Support sales for customer presentation from technical & process aspects
Work with CSC Engineer for process improvement and new project testing, including process and parameters definition, quality improvement, relevant documentation preparation and liaison with overseas technical expert together
Work with Maintenance Engineer for machinery maintenance to ensure a good production condition

3.Miscellaneous
Assist Operation Manager in general functions

III.SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES

1.Education/studies
Bachelor degree in Material science, Mechanical Engineering or similar

2.Professional experience
At least three years of production experience in Thermal spray industry or similar
Detail understanding of production management of manufacturing process
Good knowledge of Machining processes

3.Further training and development
ISO9001/TS 16949
ERP

4.Miscellaneous
English, written and verbal
Good teamwork spirit and communication skills
Strong self-leaning skills.
Basic knowledge of EHS regulation;
AutoCAD

The supervisor has to be informed about extraordinary, tooling processing and any safety issues.

Shift leaders, Operators I, II and Temp workers
Proposal of production improvement according budget

Financial responsibility
Responsible for production cost according to budget

Authority of signing
Authorised to sign contracts with suppliers related to ongoing production

Good healthy
