The Role:

 

To be considered for the role of FAE you must:

1.           Have “Mixed Signal” ASIC design integration experience

2.           Have a strong Semiconductor Design background

3.           Be experienced at Integrating IP designs into the customers SoC

4.           Be a fluent speaking and able to write in both Mandarin and English

 

We’re looking for an application engineer who must have mixed-signal ASIC design experience to join Moortec expanding Sales Team.  This is an exciting position for somebody who enjoys the combination of using their strong technical semiconductor design background with their great interpersonal skills to provide our customers with first-class support when integrating our IP into their System on Chip (SoC) products.  As a fluent speaker of Mandarin, you will also need to be both culturally and commercially aware of the Chinese / APAC market.

 

Responsibilities:

?            You’ll be working with Moortec busy sales teams undertaking an instrumental role in pre-sales and post-sales direct technical ASIC design and integration support to our existing customers and future customers.

?            It will be down to you to support our customers to understand how Moortec IP can be of value to them and deliver direct technical support to enable them to successfully integrate it.

?            You’ll facilitate customer feedback on new/existing requirements for IP usage and translate customer application trends into product requirements.

?            You’ll also provide technical guidance and support to the sales team during calls, meetings and marketing events.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

Essential: Mixed-Signal ASIC design experience is a MUST.

 

Experienced - Qualified applicants will have a BSEE or equivalent, (MSEE preferred) in Electronics Engineering, at least 5+ years relevant experience in ASIC/FPGA designs/technical support. *IC design and IP integration experience are the key background for this role.

 

Passionate - You’ll be keen to become the go-to expert on integrating our IP into products and will have a genuine interest and good understanding of IP-based SoC design.

 

Personable - You’ll be a fantastic communicator and confident when conducting technical meetings, presentations, seminars, workshops, product demonstrations and training to customers.

 

Technical communications - You’ll add a personal touch to technical information, be clear when explaining schemes and user guides to customers and can write concise technical application notes. You’ll also be our representative at technical conferences in China / APAC region.

 

Customer excellence - You’ll develop a deep understanding of our customers’ needs and be great at supporting their technical requirements in the field. You’ll always want to exceed their expectations to build strong customer relationships to help to grow our business.

 

Enjoy travelling - As well visiting our Moortec teams in our European offices you will be visiting clients in Greater China, South Korea, Taiwan and Japan between 25% – 75% of your time.

 

Languages & cultural awareness - You’ll be fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken, not only for customers but UK & US based colleagues.

 

Self-starter - You’ll be self-motivated and thrive on performing in a fast-paced environment, with the self-drive and ability to find solutions independently to any customer issues.

Benefits and conditions of employment

  

  

CBBC offer competitive packages which include basic gross salary, social insurance (CBBC cover both employee and company contributions), medical insurance, and generous leave entitlement.

  

  

The gross monthly package range for this position is RMB 32,000 - RMB 38,000 with annual pro rata leave entitlement of 22-days.

  

  

The job holder will report administratively to CBBC's office manager in Shenzhen, and functionally will report to and be supported by Moortec in the UK.
