Description:

The Elektron Hosting and the Managed Service business has promising opportunities by helping customer lower the Total Cost of Ownership of its trading infrastructure , streamline operations and support, and facilitates access to a community of service providers from a global network. This Business development manager is to drive this Elektron Hosting business in China.

1. Generation of new business by engaging both directly with customers and by driving business through channel groups such as Solutions Sales, Account Managers and Solution Service teams;
2. Demonstrates Elektron Hosting and the Managed Services, Enterprise Real Time data and platform products and solutions to prospective customers.
3. Completes or assists with completion of client RFI/RFP responses.
4. Assesses potential application of company products or services and offers solutions that meet customer needs;
5. Maintains knowledge of competing products, in order to provide a differentiated solution;
6. Maintains pipeline forecast for the region.
7. Provides post sales support and ongoing customer contact (follow up, resolution, escalation).

Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

1. Engage with prospective customers and channel partners
2. Achieve or exceed revenue targets
3. Act as SME for Hosting and the Managed Services, Enterprise Real-Time and Platform
4. Build and maintain pipeline forecast
5. Completion of RFI/RFP responses for Enterprise solutions
6. Demonstration of the product suite
7. Interface with internal associates, primarily the sales teams, to ensure consistency and accuracy of message.

Qualification:
Education:
Degree educated - ideally a business or technical background, or suitable relevant experience

Required Skills (Must have), Necessary industry Experience & associated number of years of experience:

1. Proven track record of selling high value solutions to the finance sector over 5 year + period.
2. Knowledge of market data industry, ideally gained from working for a market participant in this area.
3. Solid understanding of financial markets.
4. High level understanding of technologies for market data and transactional systems.
5. RFP and RFI experience.
6. High level of presentation and demonstration skills.
7. Polished interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Ability to effectively facilitate client and other related meetings and/or engagements.
9. Ability to remain up-to-date on industry drivers and trends.

10. Team player, able to work under pressure and within a small team.
11. Autonomy, self-motivation, problem solving and decision making.
