职位描述

Role Purpose

The Sales Specialist manages and grows business, utilizing deep domain knowledge of their clients' practices in specific business segments within commodity and Energy markets.
Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities
? To manage and grow revenue and market share in the designated accounts; Responsible for gross sales and revenue quota achievement.
? To maximize customer satisfaction and achieve company's strategic objectives with asset classes under management.
? To work with local Account Managers, SBUs and global sales team to deliver stronger, more relevant value propositions, providing strong consistent service levels to key accounts.
? To develop and identify new opportunities; To analyze impact from intelligence on competitor activities; To provide feedback to SBUs.

Qualification


Certifications/ Education

? University/ college degree required,
? CFA or MBA preferred
? Future certificate preferred

Skill

? Strong understanding of specialized customers and their business model and workflows within the appropriate segment.
? Relationship Building Skills/Selling Skills (identify, develop, & articulate a complex proposition / consultative selling)
? Ability to cooperate with a virtual team and have understanding of cultural differences in a business setting
? Strong Negotiating skills
? Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and execute a sales plan; ability to use MIS systems
? Problem Solving- ability to understand articulate, structure and solve client needs.
? Presentation Skills- ability to deliver presentations to C-level executive and senior management at TR

? Communication Skills- capacity to effectively communicate with C-level executives and represent Thomson Reuters as a business leader
? Proposal Writing- ability to develop needs assessment and recommend appropriate product/ services to best address client needs

Professional Experience

? A proven successful track record of minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in financial markets field.
? Strategic planning background managing large complex contract negotiations.
? Strong financial market knowledge.
