Business Development Manager


As our business grows, so too must our organization expand. In line with this, we are now looking for a Business Development Manager for our Shanghai office.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating business from existing and new accounts. The role requires a highly self-motivated and proactive individual to build long-term business relationships.



Responsibilities:

· Identifying, qualifying and developing potential clients through meetings.

· Building up a pipeline of prospective clients through cold calling, events etc.

· Researching client's business to gain knowledge of clients markets and business goals.

· Managing existing client relationships and developing long term business.

· Working closely with an internal Project Management team to ensure that client expectations are met.

· Preparing proposals and negotiate contracts and agreements.


Qualifications and Experience

· University degree or equivalent.

· Minimum 10 years track record in a sales-oriented role in the translation, publishing, document services, or other relevant industries.

· Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Putonghua.
