Responsibilities

1. Initiate and implement necessary purchasing projects, conduct supplier market research and evaluation, negotiate prices and capacities, handle all purchasing related issues, support report production, improve cost/production effectiveness;
2. Implement regional purchasing strategy for Electrical commodity, which includes ECU (BCM, PEPS) and related software or HMI (Infotainment, Cluster, CCH) and related software;
3. Deal with all contracts related issues with the suppliers; Manage suppliers in terms of clear KPIs and continuous improvement of process.
4. Develop timely purchasing actions in support of new and current programs.
5. In coordination with Product Line Purchasing, constantly review and improve the material supply chain management;
6. Take part in all business activities with suppliers and participate product conference;
7. Act as a focal point of communication of commodity suppliers and team with Engineers and Quality Assurance to ensure optimized cost of designs and good quality of purchased components;
8. Support Cost Analysis team to build up the cost model.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent engineering majors;
2. 7+ years work experience as Electrical purchasing leader in auto industry, OEM or tier 1 global supplier background is preferred;
3. Deep knowledge of components sources, price trends and supplier base in China market. Proven experience in product costing, supplier evaluation and auditing, contract management skills and etc;
4. Familiar with automotive related quality systems, such as TS 16949, ISO 9000, VDA 6.1;
5. Strong organization and communication skills;
6. Excellent oral and written English skills;
