Senior/staff IC design engineer

Job description:
The candidate will be the key participant in chip architecture design, RTL development and chip level synthesis, also responsible for leading the other workers to complete the work.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will responsible for write design spec or verification plan, RTL coding and build verification environment, write testcase, run simulation and debug the design, also responsible for chip level synthesis, timing & area optimization.

Requirement:
1. Understanding of the whole ASIC design flow, from Micro-architecture design to silicon bring up.
2. Good understanding of data encryption, video/audio codec or spi/i2c/uart/usb protocol
3. Strong logic design/debug ability and good RTL implementation skill.
4. Ability of chip level synthesis and can work closely with backend for physical implementation
5. Ability of C/Assembly programming and script language (Tcl, shell, perl or python).
6. Can work closely with the Analog team to define the interface and mixed- signal simulation.

Desired Skills:
1. Experience with digital and analog mixed-signal simulation;
2. Knowledge in embedded series MCU;
Education:
Requires MSEE or BSEE/CS degree plus significant experience ASIC design. 3+ years of hand-on design experience
