职位描述
1. Position Summary
NYU Shanghai, a new portal campus of New York University opening in Shanghai in the Fall of 2013 seeks a dynamic team member for the position of Accounts Payable Accountant to provide a broad range of accounting and procedural functions for NYU Shanghai and its associated entities in Shanghai, China.
The Accounts Payable Accountant is responsible for all payments and expense of NYU Shanghai and related entities. The Accounts Payable Accountant's principal duties include, receiving invoices, handle the work of reconciliation of vendor statements, matching invoices with internal pay orders, preparation and mailing or sending of payments or checks, and make sure all information must be securely saved and monitored to make sure the financial information is accurate, dealing with vendors and employees of NYU Shanghai.
2. Principal Accountabilities
· Verify payment supporting to align with company control policy and procedure
· Receiving invoice and perform the reconciliation of vendor statement
· Produce backup reports for all invoices
· Ensure the proper and timely booking of all payments and employee expenses
· Keep financial records updated and accurate
· Maintain the daily ledger, print and distribute monthly financial summaries
· Keep vendor files and file numbers updated
· Making sure all the files are kept secure, not only the invoices, but also all other supporting documents
· Perform bank and transaction reconciliations
· Liaise with related, internal and overseas parties
· Closely work with the procurement team to ensure the appropriate process within "P2P" cycle.
3. Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics with 5+ year's accounts payable experience in Multi-National Company (MNC ) and/or international education business related
· Accountant related qualification certificate
· Knowledge of regulations governing WOFEs and/or international education business in China
· Understand the contracts and essential terms related to accounts
· Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles including China GAAP and IFRS
· Knowledge of PRC Tax regulations
· Fluent English in both speaking and writing
· Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure to support cross functional departments
· High professional integrity, honesty and trust
· Technically strong and commercially astute.
· Knowledge of ERP Financials preferred.
· Excellent interpersonal skills

Preference will be given to those candidates that have rich experience, display exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work unsupervised in a dynamic and rapid growing environment.
