We are a dynamically growing trading and production company with branches in Bratislava, Munich, Shanghai and Vienna. For our customers in the fields of mechatronics, automotive and automation, we procure electronic components, plastic and metal parts from Asia and Eastern Europe and manufacture assemblies in Bratislava.

To support our team in Shanghai we are looking for an immediate entry of a

PROCESS ENGINEER SHEET METAL PRODUCTS (m/f)

with focus on the production process for our sheet metal parts done by means of stamping, laser cutting, welding, bending, punching and other related processes.

Area of responsibility

• Technical evaluation with suppliers whether new products fit to their production capabilities
• Define, evaluate and improve production processes with suppliers and carry out FMEA analysis
• Define product inspections (in-process and final inspection) at supplier
• Conduct process audits at suppliers to ensure stable production quality
• Evaluate supplier’s corrective actions stated in 8D report and follow up until corrective actions are well established and verified, as well as inspection standard is updated

Your profile

• Deep knowledge of production processes for sheet metal parts
• At least 5 years’ working experience as process engineer or design engineer, with good understanding of workshop activities
• Willing to travel multiple days a week to suppliers mainly located in Jiangsu and Zhejiang province, but partly also in other provinces
• Native Chinese
• Very good written and spoken English
• CAD knowledge mandatory (preferably with Solidworks)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel)
• Quality management experience advantageous (FMEA, 8D)
• Experience in measuring and product testing is an advantage
