The company, located in Shanghai, is a subsidiary of Heliograph Holding, which is headquartered In Germany and operating worldwide. The Heliograph Holding is the leading supplier for engravers for the printing industry.
Our operations in Shanghai are currently focused on production of several types of engravers for Chinese market.
In addition we are also providing sourcing services for sister-companies within the HELIOGRAPH Holding.
In order to improve our sourcing capabilities we are looking for a

Purchasing Specialist / Production Manager (PM) Assistant

Basic Function:
Be responsible for the local sourcing of various goods, dealing with internal and external (overseas) customer and carry out certain administrative tasks. Assist PM for several tasks

Responsibilities:
? Purchasing of all items for internal general use and items sold to group companies
? Liaise with company-internal and external customers to specify / verify requested goods
? Translate specifications, quotations and other related documents from English to Chinese and vice versa
? Find good and reliable local manufacturer / supplier for various goods according to specification.
? Keep close relationship with both suppliers and customers during the purchasing process and beyond to achieve customers satisfaction
? Arrange samples, negotiate prices, terms and conditions, ensure quality standards
? Organize and execute various administrative tasks (like document handling) according to business needs
? Carry out special projects as assigned by GM and PM

Education:
? College Degree or above in engineering

Experience:
? 2-3 years experience in similar position, preferably in Wholly Foreign Owned company or Joint Venture company
? Working experience with foreigners (westerners), confident in English communication, German is a plus

Specific Skills:
? Excellent verbal and written communication in both Chinese and English (comparable CET6)
? Good perception, quick learner
? Flexible and adaptive
? Familiar with MS Office software (particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
? Prioritization and organizational skills
? Willing to travel within China
? Ability to handle stressful situations with tact and poise
? Capable to deliver under pressure (especially when facing unexpected situations)
? Worked with ERP systems before is a plus
? Knowledge in using CAD systems (Solid Works or Inventor) is a plus
? Knowledge in machining and welding processing is a plus
? Driving license is a plus
