AspenTech is seeking a Manufacturing Execution System Associate Consultant within our China Professional Services organization based in our Beijing or Shanghai Office. Major responsibility is to provide MES consulting services in the design and implementation of manufacturing execution solutions (historical data management/ process analysis and monitoring/ production tracking/oil movements & yield accounting) to our customers for their adoption of AspenTech’s Manufacturing Suite products.

    

    

Your Impact,

• Learn and support delivery of MES consulting services including solutions design, implementation, technical delivery, training and advisory services to support AspenTech clients in their adoption of AspenTech Manufacturing Suite solutions.
• Provide peer support to team members as required
• Provide support to Sales as required to grow the MES business
• Provide support to Customer Support and Customer Success as required to ensure continued customer satisfaction and adoption of AspenTech solutions
• Provide support to Marketing as required to promote AspenTech MES solutions
• Provide support to Product Management as required, e.g. product functions, enhancements, testing and issues resolution

                            

    

What you’ll need,

• Degree in Computer Science, Control Science or other with relevant experience in the deployment of process data historian
• 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in consulting
• Ability to learn or competency in the use of real time databases software or Oil movements & Yield accounting systems software in Refinery. Experience in DCS, PLC, SCADA is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Batch Control Standard S88 and PLC/DCS based batch solution or PC based software platform experience will be an added advantage
• Able to execute program control and migration of integration solution across environments
• Be competent in designing and modeling of decision support systems – either in AspenTech Manufacturing suite of products or equivalent products
• Capability to learn and document change management and best practices related to MES solutions
• Programming skills in VB, C#, XML/XSL, html5, JQuery, Ajax will be useful. Familiar with relational database (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL), able to use SQL to generate reports..
• Good written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks
• Domestic and international travel of up to 50%.
• Fast learner with desire and motivation to learn and adopt cutting-edge technologies.
• Desire to learn general knowledge in other technology areas in AspenTech, e.g. APM.
• Ability and motivation to do self-learning or self-training
• A team player with the ability to relate to customers and maintain good working relationship internally and externally.
• Good problem-solving skills
