Main Function:
Set up and undertake CAE simulations and predictions for HVAC systems and components that achieves optimum solution to performance cost quality timing ease of assembly / manufacture-service ability
Analyse and verification of benchmarking programs
Compile new and innovative design concepts
Correlate R&D tests
Participate in HVAC design project teams
Apply knowledge of air flow and heat transfer to the design of HVAC components and systems
Assist in the analysis and resolution of HVAC design problems
Participate in VA/VE activities
Assist in project feasibility studies
Assist in development and implementation of test plan
Selection Criteria:
Major in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning/Automobile Engineering,Master degree is preferred.
Mini 2 years's CAE experience in automotive industry,HVAC & PTC background is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in written form, with people at all levels within the organisation and customers, including effective facilitation and participation in meetings.
Demonstrated competence in the use of computer applications, including spread sheets word processing project management data bases
Proficient in Fluent and its application to Automotive HVAC analysis
Proficient in using meshing tools like Gambit, T-grid or ICEM-CFD
Experience using Unigraphics
Proficient in English
Demonstrated ability to participate and contribute within a team environment.
Successful completion of a relevant tertiary qualification in engineering.
Demonstrated achievement in application of CAE.
Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise activities and achieve targets within tight time constraints.
