Duties and responsibilities:


Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan to bring the Company's Quality Systems and Policies into compliance with Company's quality standards and regulations;
Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization;
Log customer complaints, follow up with all necessary departments to establish corrective action and communicate final treatment to customer;
Ensure compliance with aeronauticalstandards and legislation;
Bring together staff of different disciplines and drive the group to plan, formulate and agree on comprehensive quality procedures;
Set up and manage the quality control system (Set up, manage and maintain the Company's quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes and finished goods);
Set QA/QC compliance objectives and ensure that targets are achieved;
Agree on standards and establish clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply;
Always work in conjunction with the production and inspection team;
Identify relevant quality-related training needs and deliver training;
Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures;
Organize and manage quality assurance function in close co-operation with the customers, the production team and with the Company's Management team;
Define and maintain performance indicators aligned with corporate objectives;
Define the needs for Quality problem investigations and initiate corrective actions working closely with production and engineering;
Collaborate in maintaining a system to collect quality and performance dataand to track repairs and corrections;
Define and maintain internal and external reviews and audit programs.
Work with supply chain to establish quality requirements from external suppliers;
Ensure that quality processes are consistent with the guarantees required in the contracts;
Follow required training for Canadian aviation regulations;
May be required to participate in evening conference calls to liaise with head office in Montreal.

Skills and Specifications:


Ability to read and understand 2Ddrawings;
Ability to understand critical technical issues;
Ability to establish and implement critical QC inspections;
Familiar with SixSigma or other "in process" QC methods;
Knowledge of production process of composite and plastic material;
Excellent communication skills and capacity to ensure a high level of professional problem solving;
Strong knowledge of Access;
Strong project management skills;
Autonomy and initiative;
Strong teamwork attitude, ability to gain trust and creativity in finding solutions to solve quality issues;
Ability to work under pressure;
Results and deadline oriented;
Strong organizational skills and discipline;
Practical judgment of priorities;


Education and Qualifications


Bachelor degree or above in industrial engineering;
At least 5 years relevant experience in Quality management role;
Proactivity, team player;
Fluency in written and spoken English and mandarin chinese;
