职位描述
Objective of job
Maintain the parts inventory to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction and at the lowest cost.
Task designation
1 Inventory Management of Local Parts
Analyse, plan and place orders for stock replenishment to maintaining an inventory level, to meet the the target of service level and stock turn at minimum cost.
Periodically review the leadtime and ensure that procurement orders are placed within the set timelines by local suppliers.
Timely update monthly/quarterly/yearly forecast to local suppliers.
2 Backorders
Follow-up on vendor and dealer backorder items, liaise with vendors (Joint-Ventures and local suppliers) to guarantee the shortest possible leadtime balancing between the degree
of urgency and transportation costs.
Communicate about availability date with different departments and follow-up on the different steps of the supply chain.
3 Movement Analysis
Conduct ongoing review of stock to minimise obsolesence and reduce surplus stock.
Analyse Fill Loss reports and Backorder reports to decide for stock replenishment taking the dealer demand into consideration.
Conduct stock transfer between the different DPTS warehouses to balance the inventory and reduce surplus stock.
4 System
Maintenance of Systems’s records to ensure correct and accurate information for all users involved.
Qualification required
o Training
Degree or Diploma in Automotive / Engineering / Business Administration/Logistics
Those without academic qualifications must have a minimum of 5 years work experience.
o Experience (type of)
3 to 5 years’ experience in the automotive industry. Experience in stock management and parts purchasing.
Supervisory skills.
Less than 3 year experience but good automotive and inventory processes background.
o Specific knowledge
Knowledge of automotive parts.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Computer literate.
