Position Summary:

科尔帕默致力于成为科研领域的专业方案提供商。我们需要一位对实验室仪器和耗材，以及对制药领域有一定了解的产品采购专员。我们的主要客户群体需要的是能提供整体产品和服务方案的专业厂商。除了科尔帕默的自有产品以外，我们还需要和更多的行业内供应商建立合作。我们需要寻找的产品采购专员就是为了帮助我们完善‘产品服务方案’，特别是针对重点客户的多样化的产品需求。我们期望您有5年以上的行业经验，了解研发实验室，QC实验室，制药商业化生产车间的常见需求，并有良好的供应商网络以应对复杂的需求。针对一些重大项目机会，有团结协作和共同积极应对的心态，能为客户的成功做出贡献。对于制药行业的法规要求以及仪器设备的验证要求有一定的理解。愿意与公司一道成长，有敏锐的商业意识，有较好的谈判和沟通能力。该角色的职务可根据候选人的资质设为产品采购工程师或资深产品采购工程师。

Cole-Parmer has the mission to be Scientific Expert with professional product and service. We need a professional Product Sourcing Engineer who has good understanding to Lab equipment and consumables, and familiar with pharmaceutical industry. Our customers expect Cole-Parmer as a total solution provider to Products and Service. Besides our private labels, we also need to cooperate with many suppliers in our industry. We need an experienced Product Sourcing Engineer to help us, improving the total solution capability, especially focusing on wide product demands in key accounts. We expect you to have more than 5-year experience, have deep insights to R&D labs, QC Labs and Pharma commercial production needs. You need to have proven supplier network which enables you to deal with complicated requirements. For some big projects, work together with other team members with commitment, contribute to customers and our success. We expect you to have some understanding to regulations in Pharma industry and Validation requirements to Equipment and Instruments. Strong willingness to grow together with company, good business sense and negotiation skills. The title can be Product Sourcing Engineer or as Senior Product Sourcing Engineer, upon qualification of candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

1. 根据公司产品开发规划并评估产品线建设需求，开发并建立合格供应商数据库，建立有效的产品供应能力。According product portfolio development plan and evaluation to existing supplier base, develop qualified suppliers and build up effective supply capability.

2. 根据重点客户的需求，向合作供应商咨询产品信息和询价，获取报价和交期信息等。According to product requirements from key accounts, to send inquiry to cooperative suppliers, to gain price and delivery information as required.

3. 关注交期管理和争取获得较好的贸易条件，比如付款方式以及维保承诺等。Pay attention to lead time and on-time delivery, negotiate for better trading terms like payment credit and product warranty terms, etc.

4. 参与产品信息和供应商数据库的管理，让系统中的产品数据和供应商信息保持有效性，准确性。Participate Product Information management and Supplier data management, to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness in system.

5. 对供应商和自身的绩效情况进行评估，如报价和交货的速度，成功转单率等，针对需要改善的领域指定有效改善计划。Performance Review to suppliers and own responsibilities, like response time of quotation and delivery, quotation to order successful rate, and initiate continuous improvement plan to weak areas.

6. 协助部门主管做好其它安排的工作，帮助团队的成功。Help and Assist to other tasks assigned by manager, contribute to team success.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. 至少5年的工作经验，能独立高效地处理仪器设备以及耗材类产品采购工作。More than 5-year product sourcing experience in Equipment & Instrument and Consumables.

2. 对法规有基础性的了解，如GMP/GLP/GEP；以及大概的理解这些机构的指导性原则，如FDA, CFDA/NMPA, ICH, WHO 等。Basic understanding to GxP requirements like GMP/GLP/GEP, and general understanding to regulations from FDA, CFDA/NMPA, ICH, WHO, etc.

3. 如曾有过制药行业的质量、研发类、生物制药工艺类工作背景，再加上产品采购的经验，将是重要的加分项。Work experience, prefer with Quality Control/Quality Assurance or Drug research work or Bio-Pharma Process Engineer background.

4. 能有较好的英语使用能力，如应对电子邮件，简单的交流和商务谈判。Good English skills to deal with emails and basic communication, especially for business negotiation.

5. 大学或研究生学历，主修理工科类专业，如有生物、制药工程类学习背景尤佳。Major in Pharmacy Engineering, Bioscience as a plus.

1. Must be positive and supportive, have commitment when facing big projects in short term.

2. Must be able to function independently, be self-motivated and yet be part of a team.

3. Must possess strong communication skills both verbal and written to communicate directly with customers and share technical information and provide documents.

4. Must possess strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and service customers in a timely manner

Working Conditions:

Normal office environment, travel required as needed (very few)
