Job purpose:
Accountable for clinical program activities for approval in China and manage organizing and implementing of clinical development strategy of new drugs in multiple clinical programs across indications, multiple assets, or a large complex program in China. Closely works with global team and inputs or contributes to disease area strategies, the risk-benefit assessment for the program(s); and execution of clinical development program(s) to support decision milestones, regulatory requirements, and market access from China point of view. Coach team members and cultivate their talent & career development. Build up and develop a team with strong capabilities to meet the needs of being the leading clinical development team in China

Your key responsibilities:
?Take strong scientific leadership in a specific therapeutic area. Scientific contribution to overall China therapeutic portfolio strategy, prioritization and implementation
?Drive effective scientific communication and engagement with global teams and China cross-function teams to ensure China development strategy meet local unmet medical needs and in line with global
?Teamwork with other development functions, drive innovative approaches in China to speed up and achieve simultaneous development
?Explore future opportunities and potential development initiatives based on China specific unmet medical needs
?Contributes to peer-review of IDPs, CTPs, and other clinical documents across various indications and programs; and with driving excellence across clinical trial strategy, design, and execution
?Provide scientific and strategic input to clinical development programs ; ensure quality of clinical trial plan, project characteristics, clinical trial protocol, CSR and CTD
?Advocate continuous improvement of clinical related documents quality.

Desirable requirements:
Education (minimum/desirable):
?MD required
?＞4 years clinical practice experience preferred
Languages:
?Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English
Experience/Professional requirement:
?＞10 years clinical development experience in leading cross functional teams in a multidisciplinary environment with broad experience on one or multiple therapy areas
? Advanced knowledge in relevant medical specialty and track record of development of relevant therapeutic area
? Strong background Clinical pharmacology/ Translational medicine and Phase I-III clinical drug development.
? Experience with NDA/BLA submission
? Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of drug development principles and practices
? Strong leadership with strategic thinking
? Good communication,& negotiation skills and teamwork spirit
? Proven operational, budget management and people management skills
