Responsibilities 工作职责：

  

The Application Support Chemistry Technician will be responsible for processing and developing methods in different applications of Gilson lab instruments to support sales/marketing goals. Support field application works and manage regular in-house lab workflows. Support field to trouble shoot customer`s question.

  

Educations:

  

Bachelor's degree in chemistry or higher,

  

• Organic chemistry

• Inorganic chemistry

• Physical chemistry

• Biochemistry

          

Required Work Experience:

  

• The Candidate who has Bachelor`s degree will need to have at least 1-3 years in chemistry lab work.

• The candidate who has strong capabilities of operating lab instruments, such as HPLC, SPE, HSCCC, LC-MS, GC-MS, Automated liquid handling will be preferred.

    

  

Essential Job Duties Include:

  

• Prepare chemical solutions for use in processing samples and analyze samples to determine analytes in samples, following standardized formulas or experimental procedures.

• Responsible for operating, troubleshooting, sample preparation and data analysis.

• Program the methods of Gilson software.

• Maintain consumables and reagents as needed for daily work.

• Inventory and report expendable supplies/materials needed for testing requirements.

• Documents results of tests and analyses in an organized and timely manner.

• Demonstrates basic knowledge of laboratory quality control and assurance procedures.

• Responsible for testing, calibrating, and performing quality control tests on lab equipment, maintain instruments in well condition.

• Promotes a positive and safe work environment through understanding of safety regulations, practices, and procedures, including but not limited to biological and chemical hazards.

• Reports directly to the laboratory manager.

• Willing to meet on-call obligations as needed. Travel to sites when necessary.

• Know laboratory information management system (LIMS).

• Follows all company policies and procedures to ensure product integrity and quality control.

                          

  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  

• Chemistry lab experience using a variety of analytical techniques and instrumentation, includes HPLC, GC, LC-MS, etc.

• Excellent PC knowledge, Computer Programming languages preferred, pass National Computer level 2 at least.

• Excellent listening and communication skills, self-motivated with strong organizational and teamwork skills.

• Strong report written skills (To generate necessary experiment reports).

        

  

Special Requirements:

  

• Candidate must retain confidentiality and all reasonable precautions to keep clients` data and other information confidential.

  

  

Communication skills

  

• Must be customer service oriented.

• Experience with sample preparation.

• Previous experience in food safety, chemistry purification, photochemical related considered a plus.

      

  

Physical Requirement:

  

• Able to lift/carry at least 15 kg.

• Ability to bend at the waist, squat.

• Ability to work with hands, see and hear.
