Job Responsibility:

Design and develop exterior lighting components, lighting systems, lighting assistant systems and technically support to other departments or customers.

- Collect and analyze technical requirements from customer
- Write specifications for exterior lighting components
- Concept design and develop for exterior lighting parts
- Packaging study, homologation investigate, technology feasibility analysis
- Work with Styling department for feasibility analysis, Gap & Step definition
- Master section concept design
- 3D model design and 2D drawing export with CATIA V5
- Work with OEM together to manage related suppliers (tooling supplier, integration system supplier, etc.)
- Exterior lighting components, lighting systems and lighting assistant systems application and testing
- Vehicle testing together with cooperated departments
- Support prototype vehicle build up
- Analyze failures and prepare failure reports, prepare proposals with suppliers together to close open issues
- Work with Module Group Leader together to prepare regular exterior lighting states report

Qualifications

- Bachelor degree or above
- Electrical, electronics, automotive or related majority
- At least 4 years experience on automotive exterior lighting design and develop area
- Familiar with Chinese standards and regulations for automotive exterior lighting system (familiar with European standards and regulations preferred)
- Capable of designing and analyzing exterior lighting system(2D drawing, 3D drawing)
- Proficiency on the computer and engineering development applications for lighting system design (CATIA, AutoCAD, etc...)
- Good MS office skills: excel, word, power point, etc...
- Supplier management experience
- Self-motivation, open mind, good communication skills
- Good Chinese and English language skills: read, write, listen and speak
