Regional Sales Manager
Division: International Language Centers
Location: Shanghai
Hiring Manager: National Sales Director, Young Professionals
Key objective of position:
This is a sales management role to rapidly grow the business for International Language Schools for Young Professionals in Shanghai region.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales
· Develop and execute sales plan and achieve target sales goals and beyond
· Generate leads through creative and cost fective ways
· Utilize CRM systems to optimize the sales performance
Marketing
· Drive local marketing and advertising, and understand competitive positioning
· Participate in and attend marketing events such as Education Fairs, Information Meetings, etc
· Position and further develop the abroad programs to 25+ year old students and adults
Management
· Staff development, recruitment, performance & salary reviews
· Communication with management, staff and other necessary colleagues
Customer service
· Manage the customer service and administrative process (pre-departure information, visa service, etc)
· This position requires a lot of direct customer contact and some complaint handling
Candidate background
The successful incumbent will have at least 5 years work experience in B2C and/or B2B sales and at least 2 years' experience in a management position gained while working in a consumer based industry ideally in the Southern China Region.

Professional skills
· Minimum 5 years direct sales experience in the consumer sector
· Knowledge of the macroeconomics of the Eastern China region.
· Experience in sales gained while working in the tourism industry is prerred, though experience in other consumer services sectors would also be favorable
- Strong leadership capabilities, able to manage a sales team. Charisma.
- Proven ability to develop new customers
- Logical, organisational and analytical capabilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects, meet challenging deadlines and perform under pressure
- International study or working background is highly appreciated
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good computer skill, including proficiency in MS-Office
Education:
Bachelor degree or above, MBA degree is prerred
Travel Required:
Travel to Shanghai for management meeting and trainings; domestic and International business trips for meetings and trainings
Language skills:
Fluency in English, written and spoken; fluency in Cantonese.
