Project Manager

EC will start to setup data warehouse from beginning, development resource responsible for developing data warehouse related tasks, for example design data module, define processing follow, setup BI capability, use ETL tools to extract, translate and load data to data warehouse, generate other system required data from data warehouse etc.

Data warehouse as data repository, business data is needed to output to other system like ERP, reports are needed to be generated from data warehouse as well.

Description

1.Responsible for managing one or more projects (i.e. cluster of applications/platforms, or a 

cluster of business processes);

2.Provide value added Project Management knowledge and skills which augment existing 

organizational talent;

3.Work with technology Architects to define a solution approach and timeline;

4.Translates business and technology vision and strategy into project implementation plan;

5.Manage Project interdependencies to ensure delivery;

6.Design, develop and execute a change enablement plan for technology projects;

7.Define critical path, anticipate risks and develop mitigation plans.

8.Oversee all aspects of a complex Project including requirements, process, and change 

management to ensure a complete solution is delivered.

Qualifications  

1.Bachelor or above

2.5+ years of experience in project management or relevant fields

Exposure to the financial services industry with emphasis on payments/settlement/clearings. The 

company business concentrates on payments 

Data warehouse or ERP or Web portal experience of project management is required.

Proven experience in creating and executing work plans, estimates and dependencies across 

multiple systems and teams (including clients and external third parties)

3.A strong experience in using best practices for software development, and willingness to ensure 

that the processes and documentation associated with these best practices are followed.

4.Experience using Software Security Static/Dynamic/Runtime utilities is beneficial, as these are an 

integral part of the development process

5.Reasonable English (spoken and written). There are non-Chinese colleagues, communicating 

and presenting in English-only meetings/workshops. 

6.The ability to work as a self-motivating individual contributor. The software development team 

starts small, and the ability to get on with work without direct supervision is required.

7.Good relationship management skills. Strong communication and presentation skills

8.There is the possibility of travel.
