Duties and responsibilities:


· Supervise and be responsible of the accounting department activities and personnel (full accounting functions: AP/AR, bank reconciliation, monitoring of fixed assets, treasury, budget, costing, tax accounting);
· Prepare monthly financial statements, analysis and financial management reports;
· Coordinate and ensure timely completion of company financial statements, incl. Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash flow;
· Be responsible for monthly closing process;
· Prepare plant production reports;
· Present reports to headquarters and explain variances or extraordinary items;
· Build a system to prepare budget and track variances, with timely explanations to management;
· Track and plan expenses and control costs as per management plan and approved budget;
· Manage company cash flow based on customer payments, payables, planned purchases and budgeted expenses and provide payment plan to management;
· Improve and maintain the production costing system, in order to provide accurate and timely information to track progress and identify problem areas;
· Oversee accounting procedures, internal controls (implementing, monitoring, enhancing), and database management;
· Assure internal controls compliance;
· Evaluate and improve the tools and procedures of the company;
· Work closely with Production, Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality to address specific financial inquiries or issues;
· Liaise with Banks, external auditors, tax authorities, Government authorities etc.;
· Operate ERP system (Kingdee);
· Work in conjunction with Norduyn’s head office in Montréal, Canada;
· Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting practices and investment initiatives and propose changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets and other financial control functions to senior management;
· May be required to participate in evening conference calls to liaise with head office in Montreal.

Education and Qualifications
· Bachelor degree or above and major in accounting, finance;
· At least 5 years relevant experience in a managerial role and strong ability in data analysis;
· Good command of computer skills, familiarity withKingdee or other similar Financial system;
· Fluency in written and spoken English and mandarin chinese;
· Good communication ability;
· Excellent knowledge of local accounting practices;
· Have experience in costing in a manufacturing environment;
