Business Development Manager, China
The Business Development Manager, China will lead the Business Development team in China to strategize, attain and execute the sales & business development plan for China.
The role is to generate new business by prospecting clients among the public and private sector. He pro-actively positions the NGA solutions & services on the market and actively looks for new accounts and/or market opportunities for the whole scope of products, solutions and services NGA can provide.
As a representative of NorthgateArinso to the clients, the Business Development Manager has an excellent commercial knowledge of the solutions and services of NGA, and knows how to position those solutions & services compared to competitors' offerings.
He/She will report to the Managing Director/Vice President of Greater China and will be based in Shanghai.

Job Responsibilities:
Business Development:
? Plan and manage personal business portfolio according to agreed market development strategy
? Actively prospect the market for NGA products & services offers and identify opportunities of gaining new clients and/or penetrating new markets
? Regularly visit or contact prospects, and give presentations about one or more of NGA solutions and/or services (Business Consulting, Integration Services, Outsourcing Services, Products, Licenses)
? Develop a commercial network (partners, clients ...)
? Increase the size of the company's current portfolio by actively cold-calling and prospecting clients
? Develop and maintain an excellent knowledge of the NGA solutions and services and follow up on changes and evolutions of NGA offers
? Communicate knowledge about market evolutions and possible prospects to colleagues and other departments
? Create awareness about NGA solutions and services among potential clients through events, networking, personal investigations
? Understand the competitors' offerings, have a clear perception of the market evolution, and be able to define the key differentiators of our solutions and services

Company contribution:
? Respect, represent and act according to the commercial strategy and branding of NGA
? Reach and/or exceed annual individual and departmental sales, profit and margin quota
? Maintain "pipeline" (flow of potential clients and their chance of success, with projected sales-volumes attached) and share information with management and colleagues

Job Requirements:
? At least 8 years of related sales & business development software(IT/ERP) or business applications solutions experience is required;
? Proven selling (mainly is solution selling), influencing, persuasion and negotiation skills
? Sales mentality, able to open doors and to close deals
? Strong client focus and outstanding capacity to work well with multiple clients
? Strong ability to share and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing in clear concise language
? Be reliable and creative
? Knowledge of HR organization and processes
? Possess strong work ethics
? Be fluent in English
? Knowledge of SAP HR is a strong asset
