Job Objective:
Responsible for all financial matters and to establish company-wide financial and administrative objectives, policies, programs, and practices, which insure the company of a continuously sound financial structure. Controls the flow of cash through the organization and maintains the integrity of funds, securities and other valuable documents.


Key Duties:
Develops and implements accounting policies, coordination of systems and procedures, and the preparation of operating data and special reports as required including monthly and year-end financial statements. Maintains the company and its subsidiary’s system of accounts and keeps books and records on all company and its subsidiary transactions and assets.
Establishes, coordinates and administers as an integral part of management, an adequate plan for the control of operations including, profit planning, sales forecasts, expense budgets and cost standards, together with necessary controls and procedures to effectuate the plan.
In conjunction with the General Manager, Sales Managers and Marketing Manager, coordinates, reviews and endorses budget proposals, discusses proposed changes and significant changes.
Compares performance with operating plans and standards, and reports and interprets the results of operations to all levels of management.
Provides for the control and editing of all company orders, to insure conformity to established policies and procedures, and to facilitate data control and retrieval of records generated by these orders.
Establishes and administers tax policies and procedures.
Supervises or coordinates the preparation of reports to government agencies and authorities.
Provides other managers and departments with information required by them to carry out their assigned responsibilities.
Assures protection for the assets of the business through internal control, internal auditing and assuring proper insurance coverage.
Assists and monitors Marketing and Sales in establishing and maintaining product pricing policies.
Serves as a liaison between the company and legal counsel. Recommends the appointment of independent public accountants and overseeing their audit work. Liaise with legal counsel for the management and protection of company’s intellectual property.
Coordinates the long-range plans of the company, assesses the financial requirements implicit in these plans and develops alternative ways in which financial requirements can be satisfied.
To manage the cash-flow position of the company. Responsibility includes authority to establish credit & collections and purchasing policies and to establish schedules for the payment of bills and financial obligations. Oversees the granting of credit and the collection of accounts due the company, including supervision of required special arrangements for financing sales, such as time payments and leasing plans.
To approve all agreements concerning financial obligations, such as contracts for products or services and other actions requiring a commitment of financial resources.
Supervises Accounting Manager, Administration Manager, Customer Service Manager and the Merchandising Assistant.
