Our client is European based industrial company with a long and proud legacy.

Responsibilities

• Further develop and maintain complete finance/controlling systems and financial procedures in the company

• Manage day to day finance operations, team building and motivation

• Develop tools to monitor and control the growing business including budgets, forecasts and variance analyses

• Responsible for full set of accounts (including subsidiaries)

• Responsible for audit, tax and corporate secretarial matters

• Responsible for monthly, quarterly, half-year and year-end closings according to local Chinese GAAP as well as group IFR standards and be the auditor’s counterpart at the year-end

• Responsible for internal control and risk management systems/compliance

• Assure transparent costing and compliant transfer pricing practices in the region

• Provides hands on management of financial controls, measurements and systems like costing, operational KPIs (lead time, productivity etc.)

• Manage treasury and cash management activities

• Take care of insurance matters as well as legal issues

Requirements

• Over 10 years of finance experience in accounting and controlling.

• Have working experience in European based manufacturing group

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience; MBA or CPA is a plus

• Proven expertise in Chinese GAAP and mapping into international accounting standard, such as IFRS

• At least some years accounting & controlling experience in a global corporate manufacturing company

• Experience in setting up financial systems and procedures

• In-depth knowledge of controlling, accounting and tax regulations and practices. Prior IFRS and PRC (China) GAAP is a plus

• Ideally regional finance experience – preferably in a multi-national, manufacturing environment with Chinese subsidiaries a plus

• Knowledge of SAP FI/ CO

• Strong analytical capabilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English. Mandarin as a 2nd Language is a plus.
