Job Title: Global commodity leader for Sensor

Reports To: Global commodity manager for Engine Management

Business Division: Aftermarket

Team: SCM

Location: Building B,  #118,  De Lin Road, China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, Pudong District, Shanghai

Job Purpose:

·     Responsible to enable and consult suppliers to ensure and guarantee the overall supply in terms of quantity, quality and efficiency.

Key Accountabilities:

·
Design and optimization for the overall commodity strategy globally

·
Establish the supply base catering to local China requirement and have potential to provide products for Regional and Global requirements as well

·     Cost modeling for fast moving products

·      Key contact person to supplier with regarding to RFQ, business awarding and any commercial discussion

·      Leading of expert teams to optimize supplier production process, ensure supplier capacities and reduce costs

·      Problem solving assignments for price, quality issues and supplier chain improvement

·      Other daily job like: RFQ track, Sourcing recommendation, payment issue solve, etc

·      Adherence to “Delphi Global Supply Management” policy & procedure

·      Strict compliance of “Internal Control” requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Education / Degree

·     Bachelor degree in engineering/automotive/commercials

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years working experience in multinational/Aftermarket automotive company
Knowledge of RFQ process, strategic sourcing and basic understanding with supplier quality tools (e.g. APQP, FMEA, TS 16949 etc.)

Good communication skill, familiar with commercial terms, fluent in English Knowledge
of Automotive aftermarket industry
Experience of low volume with high SKU No. supplier chain management
MS Office skills essential
No travel restrictions
