Job dimensions

 Product engineer for brake control products includes ESC, IBC, SBM.

Accountabilities ·      

1. Design customer interface parts. ·      
2. Engaged for local cost/tailored product development. ·      
3. Engaged for transmission system tailored product design. ·      
4. Engaged for sub-assembly level test rig development ·      
5. Issue/failure analysis support. ·      
6. Provide engineering support to manufacturing/quality.    

Activities ·      

1. To design customer interface parts for internal/external engineering development. ·      
2. To do the benchmark of competitors’ products, perform measurements and tests to understand advantage/disadvantage. ·      
3. To be able to generate ideas for design robust/ optimization or cost reduction. ·      
4. To be engaged for AP tailored product design. ·      
5. To understand and follow ZF product design and application development process ·      
6. To work with development team for sub-assembly testing rig setup. ·      
7. To work with cross function team to make sure localization / return parts analysis etc target achieved   Internal/external contact  

Qualifications / experience required ·      

1. BSc degree or higher in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (MSc is preferred).          ·      
2. Must have more than 3 years’ experience in product design engineering in related field. ·      
3. Must have experience in hydraulic system principle. ·      
4. Must have good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English languages ·      
5. Must have good problem solving skills ·      
6. Must be good at team work ·      
7. Preferred to have product knowledge in transmission system e.g Gears/BNA/ Worm wheel. ·      
8. Experience in the same or similar product fields is a plus
