Position: Junior Corporate Counsel - Greater China

Location: Shanghai, China

Job Description

• Seeking a junior legal counsel to be responsible for legal affairs in Greater China (including Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan).
• Role is based in Shanghai working alongside a corporate counsel and reports to the Head of Legal for APAC.
• Successful candidate will be working for an MNC with revenues in excess of USD3billion annually.

Desired skills and responsibilities

• Must be fluent in English AND Mandarin.
• Minimum 2+ years post qualification/admission experience, preferably in-house and in the IT industry.
• Experience in corporate governance e.g. drafting board resolutions and organizing of execution of documentation (preferably throughout the APAC region).
• Good contract drafting skills, with knowledge of software industry.
• Ability to work in a team, take instructions and work with different cultures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Commercial thinker.
